Holidays bring happiness to people, and we aim to give such an atmosphere during holidays in Plainview Healthcare Center, where our residents are. We aim to ensure that our residents think of love during this time, so we go above the call of duty.

Decorating our facility with festive decorations is only a small way we get to spread holiday cheer. Our nursing home turns into a winter wonderland with decorations of beautiful Christmas trees, shiny lights, and wreaths, thus bringing happiness to everyone passing by. We also hold holiday-related activities, including cookie decorating, and caroling. Our residents enjoy this time for socialization as it allows them to celebrate together.

The holidays are important to families; hence, we encourage the residents’ families to visit us and be part of the holiday events. We always think it’s significant for residents’ emotional health to involve the families in the holiday celebration, including putting up a Christmas tree, singing along with grandchildren, etc.

It may be difficult for those at Plainview Healthcare Center during this period as they will miss their loved ones. So, we do our best to ensure they are fully loved, cared for, and involved in the Christmas festivities. Our staff strives to maintain a holiday mood by creating festive decorations and organizing holiday-themed activities and events throughout facility buildings.
