Our medical social workers at Plainview Healthcare Center play a crucial role for your or your loved ones’ healthcare continuum. They are responsible for assessing the impact of all financial, social, cognitive, emotional, environmental, and other care needs of the residents and communicating these within the organizations and individuals involved in the patient care, including our facility, their family, insurance provider, nurses, and even physicians.
Aside from that, they are also responsible for helping our residents and their families cope emotionally and socially despite their illness and treatment as well as thoroughly educate families on communities, entitlements, and health insurance coverage of the patient.
